Jean Ingram's Dumplings

Flour (all purpose) 9# 4 1/2# 1 1/2# (4.5c)
Baking powder 2oz 1oz 1/2oz (1T)
Salt 2oz 1oz 1/2oz (1T)
Sweet Milk 1/2 gal 1qt 2pts
Eggs 20 10 5
Oil or shortening 24oz 12oz 6oz 3/4C
 

Sift together all dry ingredients.  Blend in wet ingredients, followed by the fat.

Mix well.  Dough should be very soft.

Using additional flour as needed, roll out dumplings.

Cut and cook in your favorite broth.
